Meet Scott Siegel
I believe meaningful change happens through authentic connection, emotional safety, and feeling truly understood. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely supported, accepted, and empowered to move toward a more values-driven and fulfilling life.
Professional Background
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago. Before transitioning into the mental health field, I spent nearly a decade working in finance, an experience that continues to shape my understanding of stress, burnout, pressure, identity, and life transitions.
My clinical work has focused on supporting adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and feelings of disconnection or overwhelm.
I am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, accepted, and free to show up as themselves without judgment.

My Approach
My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relational, person-centered, and strengths-based perspectives. I believe therapy is not about eliminating difficult thoughts or emotions, but about developing a healthier relationship with them while learning how to move toward the things that matter most to you.
I place a strong emphasis on safety, trust, and authentic human connection in the therapeutic process. I work collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns in their emotions, relationships, and behaviors while helping them reconnect with their values and build greater psychological flexibility. I also have a particular interest in helping clients build a different relationship with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and uncertainty.
My style is warm, grounded, conversational, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
About Me
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, attending concerts, playing guitar, exploring Chicago, and staying active outdoors with my dog.
I value authenticity, curiosity, and meaningful conversation, and I believe some of the most important moments in life come through connection with others.
Note: Every session is held in strict confidentiality, providing a safe and entirely judgment-free environment for your healing.
