Meet Jessica Tillman

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own or aren’t sure where to begin. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, without pressure, judgment, or feeling like you have to have all the “right” words.

Professional Background

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, everyday stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and other mental health challenges. I know life can feel heavy sometimes, and I believe therapy should be a space where you can slow down, process your experiences, and feel genuinely supported.

Specialties

I have particular interest and experience in supporting individuals navigating:

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Life transitions

I primarily work with adolescents and adults.

My Approach

My path into this field hasn’t been traditional. After attending medical school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I experienced my own challenges and transitions, which shaped the way I connect with others.

Because of that, I approach therapy from a place of both clinical understanding and real-life experience. I often use approaches like CBT and DBT to help clients better understand themselves, manage emotions, and develop practical coping tools that fit into everyday life.

I look forward to supporting you in your journey toward growth, healing, and self-understanding.

About Me

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and finding spaces that allow people to relax and be themselves. I also appreciate humor and believe authenticity, connection, and feeling understood can play an important role in healing and personal growth.

I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable showing up as themselves. I look forward to supporting you in your journey toward growth, healing, and self-understanding!

Note: Every session is held in strict confidentiality, providing a safe and entirely judgment-free environment for your healing.
