Meet Hannah Garrow

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. While we may explore difficult or painful experiences, I also value creating a space that feels genuine, supportive, and even light at times. It is important to me to have moments of humor, honesty, and connection so you feel more like yourself along the way.

Professional Background

I have experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples outpatient settings. My work has included supporting clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Texas State University and have training in a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches. My clinical experience includes work in private practice, where I have supported clients with diverse backgrounds and needs.

I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am EMDR-trained and incorporate parts-based work to support deeper healing and insight. My goal is always to tailor therapy to each individual or couple in a way that feels both effective and meaningful.

I have particular interest and experience in supporting individuals navigating:

Specialties

• Anxiety and overwhelming thoughts

• Trauma and past experiences that continue to impact the present

• Relationship challenges and communication difficulties

• Self-esteem and identity exploration

• Emotional regulation and coping skill development

• Life transitions and feeling “stuck”

I primarily work with adolescents, adults, and couples and strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in better understanding your experiences while helping you build the tools you need to move forward.

In our work together, we may explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while also developing practical coping strategies you can use in your day-to-day life. I aim to balance insight and action by helping you process what you’ve been through while also creating meaningful, lasting change.

Above all, I value authenticity in the therapy room. I show up as a real person, and I invite you to do the same.

About Me

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing with a good show or movie, reading, and finding small ways to unwind and recharge. I tend to appreciate slower-paced moments like being outside, trying new foods, or simply taking time to rest.

I also value creativity, humor, and connection in everyday life, and those are things I naturally bring into my work as a therapist. I look forward to meeting with you!

Note: Every session is held in strict confidentiality, providing a safe and entirely judgment-free environment for your healing.
