Meet Lina Costelloe

“I believe meaningful therapy begins with curiosity about people, respect for their stories, and a commitment to truly listening.”

Professional Background

Lina Costelloe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of OnPoint Counseling. With many years of clinical experience, she works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, women's issues and parenting concerns.

Lina’s approach to therapy is grounded in thoughtful listening, curiosity about each person’s story, and a strong belief in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Her work is trauma-informed, recognizing that past experiences often shape how individuals experience themselves, their emotions, and their relationships.

She integrates evidence-based clinical approaches with practical tools drawn from mindfulness practices and coaching methodologies. Lina has extensive training in life coaching and enjoys incorporating structured strategies that help clients gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.

In addition to her clinical work, Lina has significant experience working with clients experiencing anxiety and mood-related challenges, as well as individuals navigating ADHD, life transitions, and complex emotional stress. She works collaboratively with clients to understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create space for growth and healing.

Lina is also a clinical supervisor and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of therapists. She provides supervision and consultation to pre-licensed clinicians and enjoys supporting therapists as they develop confidence, strong clinical skills, and a sustainable professional identity. Her supervision style emphasizes thoughtful reflection, ethical practice, and cultivating authentic clinical presence.

As the founder of On Point Counseling, Lina has created a practice that values high-quality care, professional collaboration, and ongoing learning. She believes that therapists who remain curious, reflective, and supported in their work are best able to provide meaningful care to the clients they serve.

Note: Every session is held in strict confidentiality, providing a safe and entirely judgment-free environment for your healing.
